Inspiration FM Radio has been broadcasting consistently for 29 years, providing a solid platform for under represented and disadvantaged communities within Northamptonshire. The timeless station has also been a premier teaching ground for many beginner students, advancing them nationally and internationally into diverse careers within the media sector. Inspiration FM Radio endeavours to progress training in the vast amount of new technology and media that has developed since its launch in 1996!
To coincide with new training in alignment with modern day advancements, Inspiration FM Radio would hugely benefit from DAB. This natural progression would extend the stations audience range, attract a new broadcasting generation, provide resources to create training programs, provide more experiences and ultimately create job opportunities in radio production and media. To achieve these goals, we are asking our Northamptonshire community to help us on this new journey.
Inspiration FM Radio needs to raise £20,000 to be equipped to make these changes for:
- A digital upgraded studio with a new transmission
- Provide new studio equipment for DJ’s
- Provide new radio production equipment
- Provide new podcast equipment
- Provide training equipment.
This upgrade will be an asset to all listeners, especially those within Northamptonshire accustom to specific radio shows. Inspiration FM Radio will be able to continue supporting communities for celebratory and commissary events. Inspiration FM Radio also has the same intent to serve and keep communities together, divert young and vulnerable people off the streets, educate through media and broadcasting and create great experiences and employment.
